Actually, the more climate books I read, the more I think investing in freeze dried beets is probably just as good as anything else. Even though I will be personally investing in a lifetime supply of Hostess cupcakes instead--they last forever (better living through chemistry) and they taste better.

Boomers have definitely always had their own ideas about when and how to spend their money, and I don't expect that to change anytime soon.
