All true points, Matt. It's not so much that I expect to be boosted, as I'm confused on standards for it, if there are any.

This is what I miss about print and other legacy publications--I have never gotten a cover story at The Progressive, but I know that's because I do not have the professional contacts and expertise for my stories to make it there. Likewise, The Progressive has a many-year history of publishing articles on certain subjects; theoretically I can look at what they have published in the past and know what they might be interested in, in the future. I miss that. Maybe this is a larger existential piece about online publishing and what I have never been able to wrap my head around about it.

I did enjoy the coaching I paid for with you and would recommend your services to others. But if I do further professional development it may have to be on platforms more suited to my personality, what few of them are left. :)
