And I salute you for doing so. Sometimes I can’t get past not liking the way people ask me to do something, even if it’s not a big ask. This is more a problem of my personality than with the site, I’ll admit.

A while back I attended a lot of city meetings and watched a lot of salespeople address our council, selling their product/service/business. Including one very unsavory salesperson who was in town to sell a new location of one of his company’s mental health facilities — regardless of how many complaints his company’s other facilities had garnered in other communities. It was disgusting. I came right home and thanked my spouse for not being a salesperson either, I couldn’t bear the thought of either of us having to travel around and defend our poor business practices in one location while we tried to sell new locations. I always think of that now when I think of how much of this world chugs along on sales of inferior products.
