And the "classroom hold" is the low-key level. My kids have been in this middle school a couple of years, and they've had multiple ones of these, a "secure" lockdown where kids from the nearby high school actually had to evacuate and come into my kids' middle school (somebody had a gun at the high school), not to mention multiple "shelter in place" and "evacuation" drills per year. It's a shit-show and I can't believe we all just accept it year after year after year.
