As much as I dislike both the entire Bezos brand, please note that Mackenzie Scott is not shooting her wad in space. I don't believe the billionaires can save us by giving to THEIR pet projects, but she does seem to have some understanding (that Jeff lacks) that she has enough money to give to charity.
