Because, Sarah, age is just a number, and we librarians have bigger concerns and better things to do than remember numbers. :)

I had my kids in my late 30s so I wish you the very best of luck with however it works out for you...I know very well the feeling of looking at 40 and wanting a kid and then wanting MORE kids because I am a greedy wench. :)

Aren't kids who ask you questions in the library the best? Not their parents--the parents who want books for their kids based on how advanced their kids are are the worst--but the kids. Funny how they always want to know your age and favorite color. Once my kid asked another kid if her mother was in her 30s or 40s, and very offended, that kid said, my mother is in her 20s!! We all got a good laugh out of that.

So glad to provide a laugh and thank you for your fun comments as well, bestie.
