Charlie Silva,
I take your point but you're going to have to work with me here. Every generation feels put upon for some reason. All Gen Xers are a little annoyed that our parents basically ditched us, and also a ton of us had to work about three jobs while in school to pay for school (and also, ahem, plenty of Gen Xers still have loans, particularly the poor dumb bastards who didn't go into the medical or programming fields). It can't be all made up that some millennials got their parents to pay for their schooling because the costs were higher, ditto with keeping their kids on their health insurance longer than most Gen Xers got left on their parents' insurance dime.
I do feel you. The system is set up to extract money by and to the top 1% and also the 20%. It's not great for most people. All I was trying to say here was, we've got a bigger problem than the system sucking, we've got a ton of people in ALL age groups who still don't seem to understand how bad the economics are, and nobody is comparing notes with anyone else. That's all.
