Communicating through the written word is tops on my list of ways to communicate, frankly, both in reading and writing. I feel much closer to many authors I love, who I only know from reading their words, than I do to many acquaintances I must interact with on a daily basis. I'm glad so many people here at Medium still obviously believe in writing and reading as well.
