Thank you for reading and for the nice words--about both articles!!

There's plenty written about this so I'm sure you've seen it around, but I harp on the correlation between expensive cars and safe driving all the time--mostly in relation to how I teach my young children to cross a road safely: "Okay, guys, this car coming is a beamer and it's not slowing down...so you know they're not going to stop for you even if you're in the crosswalk with the pedestrian lights flashing. Watch out for the Lexuses too."
