I am so sorry that happened to you. If you can believe it, I wasn't familiar with even the term D&E until I just went and looked it up, and you wouldn't want anything to be botched about that. I was lined up for a D&C during an early miscarriage, but asked to try and allow my body to complete the loss without it--it did and I was always glad I asked.

I am INFURIATED that it happened to someone else and you just overheard it--so imagine how many women it is happening to who aren't talking about it.

I wish you healing and courage and when you are ready to write about what happened I will be your faithful reader.
