Even though I'm done with Medium I always enjoy reading articles by people still trying to figure it out. For what it's worth almost everything I ever wrote was distributed almost immediately. It never meant anything in terms of earning. The only place I ever got traction from being curated was at PS I Love You, and even there my top-grossing story was $175. Average that out with a lot of five-dollar stories and it just wasn't worth it.
