Fascinating, Sabrina, you probably feel these gaps as more culture-based than I do. I feel the generations more because I come from a homogeneous Midwestern rural culture, where many generations know/interact with one another over long periods of time.

I very much agree that a lot of tension is caused when the age generations don't listen to one another. This is why I'm unhappy there's so many 80+-year-olds running my government. They also seem to be the type of 80 year olds who are living in the past and can't be bothered to look at the situation on the ground as it is now.
