"Glass House" was a really beautiful, well-constructed big-picture story of community collapse. The story was so, so sad, but the author's dedication to getting the story and the interviews right was something to behold. And yes, it made me very angry too. For many reasons--including that glass is difficult to ship worldwide in containers--Anchor Hocking could have remained a good company. But that's not the way private equity wanted it.
The more I hear about AI the more I don't believe anything will be standing in 5-10 years, including the vast majority of colleges. I'm scared.
