Great article!!

My mom tells me that when I was little, I threw my dolls away every day (I didn't want to play with them and so didn't need them, I thought) and she rescued them from the trash because she thought little girls should play with dolls. Ironically, I am now a SAHM by choice who has absolutely loved and appreciated every moment I've had caring for and being with my two boys. People are complex. What you play with/like as a kid in no way equals what you do/like as an adult.
