I am glad if I can be of any help.
Thank you for all you did for your family.
Everyone who has not lived through this thinks it should be able to be done at home, even if you need help. But it's shocking how much work it is. Almost everyone gets to the point where, even with multiple helpers, caregiving just can't be juggled or performed safely for you or the person you're trying to assist. It just is what it is. And it is all very stressful.
I am thankful to have more room in my schedule now to attend to my kids and work, but actually I'm a little shocked at how much work is still involved to help Mom even when she is in a good facility.
