I am so sorry this is your situation.

What people aren't thinking about is how much harder it is than childcare--kids eventually age into 4k and school--but dementia can go on for 5-10 years+. And of course there's no help from health care, they need you to get in and out quick and elderly people with dementia are only quick when they're escaping the house.

I hope people start catching on to this and more resources start to be provided--in the meantime, thank you for providing the care that you do. I am humbled by people like you who keep providing so much and who are supported so little.
