I can't really argue with any of this.
I just know it makes me nervous on a personal level because my belief is that none of us have the right to end life, even our own, and also because I think "right to die" laws are often poorly applied as "oh, you're poor, have you considered offing yourself?" laws (or at least I've read stories from Canada and MAID that make me feel that way).
I still think the bigger problem is why do the majority have zero savings? And also how do we more judiciously have conversations about where our money goes. We seem to have endless billions for weaponry, but not enough to pay people a fair wage to help other people.
