I don't actually hate Boomers. I'm trying to point out that lots of people DO hate Boomers, and why they might feel that way, because once you understand why people hate and fear you, sometimes it actually makes you more empathetic. I think a lot of hatred of Boomers comes from the despair and fear of Gen X and younger people, worrying that their kids' lives are going to be a shitshow. If I do resent Boomers, it's because I feel you are the last generation who were able to believe that your kids were going to have it better than you did.
I think my life has been way better than my kids' lives are going to be. And I can already forgive them for hating me for that.
That said, Northern Exposure was a great show and I don't care who made it or what generation they were from. THANK YOU, Northern Exposure creators and writers.
p.s. Don't be in a hurry to die, chances are your house is bigger and fancier and filled with way more stuff than I'd want anyway. (Come on. You know I had to say that.)
