Assuming your "normal" looks like everyone else's "normal" is almost always a reductive and not particularly good idea. This is why I shudder when I read that everyone's hope for a coronavirus vaccine is to "get back to normal." I wasn't particularly happy in our hugely economically unequal (but "normal") society before and wish we could work forward to something better.
