I feel a little weird writing about this, because I think trumpeting on about how I don't expect my kids to take care of me when I'm old is a surefire way to bring on an early death--superstitious!

But thanks for the support. I kind of think kids these days are not in for an easy future, and I don't want them to feel they have to care for me my way, which I see many elderly people still expecting. I do hope they visit sometimes, I'll admit.
