I get it, but that's a shame. I have been surprised what a great and joyful thing it's been to have kids. I think you can have and enjoy them and try to encourage them to leave the world better than they found it, and still not expect they have to take care of you.

Not having them probably would save on money, though. Everything costs more these days.
