I have learned a lot in all these responses and have appreciated all of them.

It kind of was my intent. I notice so often people label others immediately and BOOM, stop listening to anything that comes after one little thing that may not align 100% with their own value system. I think that's a big part of the overall problem. I'm trying to get beyond that--"hey, we all come to this from a lot of different angles"--so we can actually FEEL we are all in this together. Whether we like or agree with one another or not.
