Actually, I like canned and frozen foods. My sisters still grow a lot of their own stuff (they're better workers than me); I always thought maybe I could convince one of them to give me some frozen stuff if I went to their house and helped them process their own. They would do it, I think (I have great sisters) but each summer we all seem to be busy running kids around to their stuff or spending time with our mom, and then we don't have the time to hang out and work together as sisters. Frustrating.

I'm really glad you grow some of your own stuff. I hate gardening and probably won't ever get around to forcing myself to do it--but I am trying to implement a weekly time with my oldest kid where we cook a meal together. He seems to like that. We're starting small.
