I once reviewed a Ramsey book for Library Journal and found numerous errors (it was a new edition and it seemed nobody had bothered to update numbers like how much you can contribute to an IRA annually). Ever since I have not had much respect for him.
Ramsey can't cut out the religious aspect because that is his extremely profitable niche market. The financial bottom lines best served by Cramer, Orman, and Ramsey, although I enjoy watching all of them from an entertainment standpoint (Orman in particular is a public speaking virtuoso) are their own.
