I share your thoughts, particularly those on the older generations not leaving lucrative jobs. People can do what they want, but honestly, if you had the resources, would you want to keep working into your 70s? Evidently I am just one of those lazy Gen X'ers.

I have seen what long-term care places charge and actually believe they should cost more. The workers in such homes who are good at their work and compassionate are worth their weight in rubies but I think all the money goes to the CEO instead. But you're right. Not much is going to be left over.
