I totally agree with this comment.

For sure we all need a greater understanding of what it takes to take care of other humans. I don't want us to "go back to the good old days," I want us to use our skills and advances and resources to do better in the future.

Caretakers getting stuck with all the shit jobs has always been the norm. It shouldn't have to be that way. Their work has always been viewed as something anybody could do, and shouldn't be paid much for. That is absolutely wrong.
