I totally get your wife's attitude: some of it is hard to watch. The "school" season nearly ripped out my husband's heart and forced us to stop watching. (It broke mine too but once I am hooked on a TV show I can't stop.) I can't get anyone else in my family to watch it.

Still: What a show.
