I was friends with a lady in her 80s who made sure her one son had any photos he wanted, and then tossed all her photo albums in a backyard fire pit because she didn't want him to have to figure out what to do with them (and she couldn't see them anymore; she had macular degeneration). I loved her for that bold move and plan to follow her example.
