I watched the movie version the night before Thanksgiving break when I was in college. I'd stayed up 48 hours previously to cram for tests, and that night I was alone in our college house, all my roommates had left for home.

It was surreal and terrifying, especially in those circumstances. I'll never watch it again or read the book!
