I'm so sorry you and your stepdad are going through this too. This is going to happen to a lot more people in the coming decade.

It's really hard when they think they've gotten to an age where they should really be able to keep everything the way they've had it forever, and they shouldn't have to listen to their kids. But everyone has to compromise with everyone else if elder care is going to work--and that goes for the elder too!
