It is a job to butcher/process your own meat. It always took our family of eight a weekend for one cow or two pigs--we called it "Family Fun Day" because invariably somewhere late in the first day tempers would flare about something when we were all worn out and cranky. And we also were all holding knives. Now THAT is family bonding.
