It is increasingly difficult for young people to take care of old, as fewer people live in the same communities with each other, and the pressure/need to make more money ensures everyone in a family is employed at an outside job, and still needs to take care of their own children and health care needs.

But I am glad for your uncle as well. It is a really hard condition to get through alone.
