It's really not a matter of trusting the science types as much as it is a matter of putting your money where your mouth is. I'm a townie among rich people and nobody is living like there's any environmental problem. And they're well-educated--they know the science. They just can't be bothered to change their lifestyle or demand better. I shudder to think how all the multi-millionaires, billionaires, and corporations from which they make their money have been living.
