I've always lived a lot in my own head so I certainly understand being distracted by what goes on in there. :)

To be honest, I think we can all improve our listening skills. I wouldn't have said anything about it, except this latest experience of meeting a new person in an age group of people I don't meet as often as millennials or gen x'ers, really stood out as a one-sided conversation.
