So glad to be able to suggest GNs you hadn’t seen! Kent State, and really anything by Derf Backderf (particularly “My Friend Dahmer,” which is also a mind-blower) is particularly of note.

I considered adding both Logicomix and March but wanted to keep the list streamlined! Thank you for adding them here! Have you seen any Jim Ottaviani books? He does a nice job with science topics.

I have very strange graphic novel knowledge in that I came to them as a reader of nonfiction; I’ve read very few comix that are fiction!
