Kelli, Thank you for doing me the honor of telling me your story. I am appalled at what you went through and just so very, very thankful that finally someone was ready to really LOOK at you. You're telling me your eyes were yellow and nobody thought LIVER? I'm a non-medical moron and even I know that.

I continue to be frustrated at how many stories like these there are, in the "wealthiest" country in the world with the "best" health care.

I agree with what you say about Shanoon. I personally spent the weekend knocked down with some kind of tummy bug and I thought of her and single parents everywhere...and how there is no break or rest for them ever. What a harsh world we live in.
