Mom has money. She could pay for another caregiver to come into the facility and help (and we may get there, if she needs additional help feeding herself) but FINDING someone to hire is an additional problem. There are fewer caregivers all the time and we are coming to a crisis point where such help won't be available AT ANY PRICE. That's the point that scares the crap out of me. When you can't even buy what you need in America even when money is no object--even the system that favors the rich over the poor will not be functioning anymore. That's wild to me.
