Oh, that's just so sad. I don't know why so many people have so much energy to be so mean.

I know I over-romanticize the era because I was young, but also, I am stymied by how on top of technology most of my Gen X peers are. Not me. Fuck my phone, it makes my skin crawl because I feel like it's recording me all day, every day. And yet I have to have it on me because I've got kids in school. So what can you do?
