But I will never not believe that AI has largely been created/formed/trained by Tech Bro types, and frankly? For that reason I will never trust it. Tech Bro types do not seem to me to be people who care about the applications of their products beyond "oh hey, look what this can do, but, woops, I didn't think about how that would play out" and "how can this make me billions of dollars?"

Neither of those things seem like good motivations to me, so I question the end results of what AI can and will be able to do.

Thanks for the link. I'll go read because I clearly don't understand this stuff at all. I'm hindered because I find it both boring and horrifying, and it's hard to learn about things that make you feel that way.
