Reactions here have run a wide gamut from your opinion to people saying the opposite sort of thing about my husband's communication/style. I think it all indicates the complexity of relationships, communication, and especially the two combined!

I appreciate your perspective and agree I need to take the responsibility for my style that sometimes runs roughshod over his. And I do! That's the point--I recognize I need to make a change and I'm committed to making it. For what it's worth I've let him know a lot of people in these comments have felt empathy with him--and he's enjoyed that. :)
