Reading this also made me want to re-watch the movie version, which was very different, but which also starred one of my first true loves, James Dean.

I am so glad you stuck with this one. I remember very little about it but the fact that I found it really interesting and read the whole thing...and I will hardly ever even consider picking up a book longer than 300 pages!
