Regional and cultural differences are quite fascinating as well.

My husband and I share a home state and similar ethnic backgrounds--but he definitely comes from a more well-mannered home. On the farm we were definitely more "function over form" people. :)

Manners, culture, friends vs. acquaintances--I'm so thankful for the endless variety of humans.
