Sadly, the countryside does not have the monopoly on ignorant hicks.

Frankly I think we all have the capacity to be ignorant hicks, at least in one area or another. But it's not really very classy to call someone that, and it makes it less likely they'll ever show you what they ARE good at or know about, which might be something quite important indeed.
