"The Corner" is an unbelievable book. Put together with "Homicide" and a viewing of "The Wire"--David Simon has given me a lot to think about.

Not really True Crime, but if you liked the book "the Corner," you really should watch the documentary "Charm City." (Also about Baltimore.) Sobering but yet strangely hopeful.
