So nice to hear from another Gen-X'er--I know we're out there, but gosh, we're quiet, aren't we?

I'm off to read about how we feel worse about life since the Internet as a generation. I'd not heard that before but I believe it.

LOVE the "s in island" story. I personally remember sitting next to the heat register and reading with my sister when she was in college and I was in grade school. A nice memory.
