My doctors know the term but are completely uninterested in how this time of life functions, so knowing the term has not helped them much. :)

Whenever people tell me how great medicine is these days, I always think, yeah, that's what we have a maternal death rate int he 2000s (when I had my kids) than we did when my mother had me back in the 1970s. That is SAD.
