It's hard to debate with people who are never going to bend on certain issues, and also who are terrified. I'm sorry, I know it doesn't look like it, but a lot of this is driven by fear. Fear of loss of way of life, of home, of livelihood.

I don't know how to address the fear. I feel it myself (as AI comes for all white-collar jobs) and it makes me want to lay down and die. Other people react differently--they want to go out swinging with the anger vote.
