I got talked down to as a rural kid, and I get talked down to as a woman, and I get talked down to a lot in my wealthy suburb because people think I'm poor. I try to let it go, but I'm a little sick of it too, and it's hard to let go of the "well, fuck YOU too, then," attitude that comes from that, and that keeps leading to many of our problems.
