Catholicism is a part of who I am so it would be odd if it didn't come up sometimes. I'm not afraid to share because whatever criticisms people have of the religion are mostly criticisms I share, and I'm also not a person who believes everyone has to be Catholic, so nobody has to be nervous that I'm evangelizing.

Good for you for navigating all sorts. I think greater wealth inequality has increasingly led to people living in their "silos"--never interacting or having to interact with people who are different from them.
