I can quite honestly say this whole thread has really given me the resolution to watch all my interactions more closely! I find it so interesting that you feel that differently in work meetings and when talking with your daughter. I think so many things about communication, we just do naturally and never think about them--I would guess your talk with your daughter is like mine with my best friend--it's really flowing and you don't even realize when you're talking over/with each other!
